In 2026, La Casa degli Artisti in Gallipoli celebrates twenty years of activity dedicated to art, creativity, and encounters. This review is therefore an exploration of the artists, old and new, who have contributed to the greatness of La Casa degli Artisti's outreach. It is an exploration of the small treasures collected and jealously preserved over these 20 years of active presence in the Apulian and national cultural scene, almost an emotional journey through donations and expressions of affection, collected over the years and carefully preserved, which are now exhibited to the public for the joy of sharing moments of enthusiasm and passion. This is the meaning of the new review that will enliven the exhibition spaces of the Casa degli Artisti in Gallipoli from June 27th until the end of the year. Among the works on display are those from the latest period of the host, artist Giorgio De Cesario. Fresh from his success at Artexpo in New York, he sought to incorporate these recent efforts into a unicum entitled "Sfascismo," a neologism he coined to describe a historical and existential state of collapse and a critical stance against the prevailing narrative. But De Cesario isn't the only one. Guests of honor will also include students from classes I, II, and III F, IIIA, and IIIB of the Istituto Compressivo Polo 2 middle school in Gallipoli. Under the expert guidance of teachers Cinzia De Lorenzis, M. Teresa Sette, and Andrea Margiotta, as well as Headmistress Prof. Lucilla Vaglio, they have created small mail art masterpieces on the theme of love. The presence of these young people was strongly encouraged by Giorgio De Cesario, with the clear goal of introducing young people to the world of art and the pursuit of beauty, thus helping to guide their choices of future studies and enhance their skills. Visitors will also be able to admire the numerous memorabilia that adorn various corners of this residence, including an unpublished text by Gabriele D'Annunzio, two lithographs by Basilio Cascella, minimalist paintings by Salvatore Pepe, some late 19th-century photographs with hand-applied color retouching, and many other small rarities of inestimable sentimental value. Also on display are some precious, unique and original artist's books from the Verbamanent Artist's Book Archive in Sannicola. In conclusion, here are the names of the artists participating in the exhibition, in strictly alphabetical order: Anna Alfarano, Giuseppe Ashram, Michele Lucio Bruno, Pasquale Cavalera, Nadia Cera, Rita Corciulo, Danny H. Cortese, Carina Corvaglia, Giorgio De Cesario, Rita De Matteis, Ilaria Ferramosca, Amanda Gesualdi, Katia Giannotta, Elisabetta Lenti, Michelle Marino, Anna Chiara Mauro, Anna Pia Merico, Antonio Napolitano, Francesco Napolitano, Luigina Parisi, Salvatore Pepe, Max Hamlet Sauvage, and Raffaella Scorrano.
