In the historic spaces of Palazzo Fruscione in Salerno, from February 20 to March 8, 2026, the fifth edition of The Rooms of Art comes to life, an exhibition project distinguished by a unique format: each artist inhabits a room, transforming the environment into a narrative, immersive, and personal space.
Conceived and directed by the Salerno-based artist Olga Marciano, the initiative builds a dialogue between painting, sculpture, and installation, enhancing the plurality of languages and fostering an experience based on listening and relationship. The project benefits from the moral patronage of the Municipality of Salerno, strengthening the bond between artistic research and the territory.

THE ROOMS OF ART AWARD
Established in the previous edition of the exhibition — which saw its first attribution to the musician and composer Antonio Onorato — the Le Stanze dell’Arte Award is a special recognition dedicated to personalities who, through their human and professional journey, have generated authentic connections between different artistic languages, significantly contributing to the dissemination of art as a shared experience.
It is conceived as a symbolic act that strengthens the idea of a culture in continuous dialogue, capable of crossing disciplines, places, and communities, leaving lasting traces in the contemporary cultural fabric. For each edition, the award is granted to high-profile figures external to the exhibition project, enhancing the synergy between visual arts, music, and culture, considered not as separate fields but as communicating territories.
2026 EDITION AWARD TO ANNA BISOGNO
In the 2026 edition, the award is conferred upon Prof. Anna Bisogno, professor of cinema, radio, and television at Università Mercatorum, for her significant contribution to cultural growth and to promoting a vision of art and media as territories of dialogue and continuous cross-fertilization.
Anna Bisogno’s work intertwines cinema, television, radio, digital platforms, and social networks, restoring to them a common dimension deeply connected to the contemporary social and cultural fabric. Her activity in research, teaching, and dissemination has contributed to the development of television studies and to a critical reinterpretation of the history of Italian television, enhancing its cultural role and its function as a bridge between visual arts, music, storytelling, and society.
The award will be presented during the opening ceremony on Saturday, February 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., by the Regional Councilor for Tourism of Campania, Hon. Enzo Maraio.
