Walter Valentini’s online solo exhibition of *ex libris* engravings will be on view at the Artgallery MCL virtual gallery from October 10, 2026, to January 10, 2027. The exhibition presents over 25 small-scale engravings from a private collection, brought together to showcase an artistic inquiry where the intimate scale of the *ex libris* harmonizes with the complexity of the artist’s visual language. Within the compact format of these works, the engraved mark takes on special significance: every line, interval, and proportional relationship contributes to the creation of an image that is both dense and measured. Geometry, rhythm, and space serve as tools to evoke a memory shared by the book-as-object, the history of graphic art, and the collector’s personal experience. The exhibition thus invites viewers to regard the *ex libris* not merely as a mark of ownership, but as a meeting point for art, the book, and memory. These engravings offer an intimate look at Walter Valentini’s artistic vision, characterized by the precision of his touch, a restrained sense of scale, and the power of the mark to transform a small surface into a space for reflection.
