"INTIMATE IMAGINARY" is a solo exhibition by Vera Del Pilar Stigliano featuring a selection of paintings. The exhibition is presented by Jelmoni Studio Gallery.
Through this exhibition, visitors can discover the intimate world of Vera Del Pilar Stigliano, who describes each of her works as a self-portrait. In her paintings—steeped in a suspended atmosphere—fairy-tale narratives intertwine with subtle irony, and parody blends with a playful lyricism.
The works on display offer a sensitive painterly message that bridges two worlds often viewed as contradictory: Western culture and Eastern tradition. Her painting commands great interest not only by engaging with the complex cultural evolution of China but also by demonstrating a profound understanding of cultural and art history.
All of this allows the visitor to immerse themselves in Vera’s enigmatic and personal universe.
Indeed, her works tell stories, as if each painted image were a page from a book.
The deepest satisfaction we can seek from a painting is its ability to evoke emotion. This is precisely what becomes increasingly clear as we contemplate the paintings by Vera Del Pilar Stigliano selected for this exhibition; her works facilitate an exchange of experiences while simultaneously bringing new stories to life.
