On Friday, September 25 at 5:30 PM, the Edarcom Europa gallery (Via Macedonia 12, Rome) will host the opening of the exhibition "Echi mediterranei – seconda tappa" (Mediterranean Echoes – Second Stage), dedicated to the work of Maestro Lino Tardia, who passed away on November 21, 2021.

Like the exhibition held in May at the Galleria Angelica—also curated by Francesco Ciaffi—this show aims to expand the tribute to Lino Tardia’s long and adventurous artistic journey. It brings his works back to the walls of a gallery the Maestro visited almost daily for thirty years.

Eclipses, captured moons, voyages with the Phoenicians, "myth boxes," and other themes that have always captivated viewers—transporting them to a parallel dimension suspended between space and time—are well represented in the selected paintings. Together, they offer a comprehensive overview of the artist’s most mature and acclaimed work.

The exhibition is accompanied by two significant catalogues: one published for the major retrospective held at Palazzo Venezia in 2009 (curated by Claudio Strinati and Andrea Romoli Barberini), and another published by Silvana Editoriale following the artist's passing, featuring essays by Aldo Gerbino and Franco Campegiani.

Admission to the exhibition is free, and it runs until October 17.
