During the event, the artist's works will be presented alongside a selection of previously unreleased pieces and historical illustrations. Pini's iconic signature marks a path developed over years of constant production and research. Pini, born in Rome in 1973, is a visual artist who trained through Art History studies at La Sapienza University and the atelier of master Gian Luigi Mattia. Author of numerous solo and group exhibitions, in 2021 he received a special mention from the jury of the Combat Prize. In 2024, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Drawing at the Cairo Editore Art Prize (Premio Arte Mondadori), with publication in the Catalog of Modern Art No. 60. He has exhibited in prominent venues and events in Italy and abroad, including the Museo del Mar in Alicante and Arte in Nuvola in Rome.
The exhibition marks the artist's return to the path of Mirabilia—a solo exhibition organized by Agarte – Fucina delle Arti and curated by Alessandro Giansanti at the former indoor market (Ex mercato coperto) of Frascati in 2023. It features a selection of 10 works created with colored pencils, pastels, and graphite on paper, exploring themes related to the dialogue between imagination, memory, and the perception of reality.
The exhibition will open on Friday, June 19, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the new venue on Via G. Lunati 14, 00044 Frascati (RM), and will run until June 28, following the gallery hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 10:00 AM–12:30 PM / 4:00 PM–7:30 PM; Thursday and Sunday: 10:00 AM–12:30 PM (for any information: +39 351 740 5874 - agarte@agarte.it – www.agarte.it).
