On April 24, 2026, on the occasion of Peace Day promoted by Rome Art Week, Cosarte organizes an exhibition of contemporary artists called to bear witness to peace. The exhibition, titled Eirene, will take place at the Cosarte Spazio Creativo gallery in Garbatella, with the patronage of Municipio VIII.
The event is part of the special project RAW for Peace, created by Rome Art Week as a widespread day of events dedicated to the value of peace through the languages of contemporary culture.
In a historical time marked by conflicts and tensions, art once again reflects on one of the most necessary and universal values.
The title of the event takes its name from Eirene, the goddess of peace in Ancient Greek mythology, daughter of Zeus and Themis (goddess of divine order). Eirene was one of the three Horae and, together with her sisters Eunomia (Good Order) and Dike (Justice), they were deities of the seasons and guardians of the gates of Olympus.
The exhibition is conceived as an invitation to collective reflection, reminding us that peace is a daily construction, founded on order, law, and justice.
Through the language of art, the artists are invited to engage with the theme of peace as a deep condition of balance, responsibility, and coexistence.
Participating artists:
