In Rome, from May 22nd to 24th, 2026, the CUPRA collective presents its exhibition "Untaimed painting" at "L’Espressione" cultural association.
The project CUPRA brings together artists engaged in independent pictorial research, oriented towards the construction of individual languages and free from dominant trends.
CUPRA is a painting collective founded in Rome as a space for shared research and practice.
The project brings together artists engaged in a process based on the centrality of painting, understood as the autonomous construction of language and the affirmation of individual identities. Far from adhering to predefined trends or styles, CUPRA promotes a free and conscious form of painting, in which gesture, material, and discipline become tools for investigation and transformation. The exchange between artists fosters a dynamic of mutual growth, resulting in heterogeneous yet coherent outcomes in their pursuit of authenticity.
The opening, attended by the artists, will be held on Friday, May 22nd at 6:00 PM.
The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Address: Via Riccardo Grazioli Lante, 40, Rome. Free admission.
