COSARTE is an exhibition space open to all artistic and cultural activities in the lively Garbatella district. It was founded by the artist Simona Gloriani, who in 2017 decided to fully dedicate herself to an artistic project by creating a multifunctional space open to art, culture, and education, choosing Garbatella as its location.

In this unique context, rich in ideas and opportunities—where the popular spirit of the neighborhood, the streets full of small venues, the university life of Roma Tre, and the new creative scene linked to murals all coexist—the idea of connecting art with the neighborhood takes shape.

The aim is to bring citizens closer to contemporary art through active and identity-based involvement, something that a district like Garbatella makes possible, also taking advantage of the growing tourist interest in the area.

COSARTE is inspired by this connection and presents itself as a Creative Space open to dialogue, to meetings between artists and enthusiasts, to education, and to the promotion of art. The gallery actively collaborates with the local Municipality and, since its opening, has offered regular group and solo exhibitions, art meetings, and cultural events.
