The Association's purpose is to spread and expand artistic, musical, and literary culture by fostering contact and encounters between individuals, organizations, and associations. It also serves as a meeting place and gathering place, fulfilling the social function of human and civic growth and maturation through the ideal of lifelong education. It has been the founder and organizer of the Viterbo Contemporary Art Biennale since 2010. Since 2024, it has been a partner of the New European Bauhaus.
