At its 14th edition, MED PHOTO FEST continues to establish itself as one of the most important Photography Festivals in Italy.
In 2022, the theme of the festival is THE ART OF ENCOUNTER and, due to the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Brazilian Week of Modern Art and the 200 years of Brazil’s Independence, it has chosen to organize its exhibitions only with artists Brazilians.

The festival honors two Great Masters of Brazilian Photography: Eustáquio Neves and Marcio Scavone with exhibitions dedicated to them.

The history of Brazilian photography is represented by a special exhibition created in collaboration with FOTO CINE CLUBE BANDEIRANTE, the oldest and most representative photographic club in operation in Brazil, with the support of its directors José Luiz Pedro and Iatã Cannabrava.

The festival will have the presence of great Brazilian artists, emerging and established, and their works will be appreciated in individual exhibitions and a group exhibition.
This year the festival has innovated, bringing to its field an Exhibition of Books by Brazilian Artists, curated and organized by Fabiola Notari, Madame Pagu, José Fujocka and Luciana Molisani (Lovely House)
Through the MED PHOTO FEST 2022 festival there will be an undeniable contribution to the expansion of visual culture and will present to the Italian public the way of looking and feeling of Brazilian artists.
